Sailboats. What if every person was a sailboat? What if the human race was a fleet of majestic white-sailed boats ready for the adventure? Just looking at sailboats they're all so different...we could move at our own pace if we all had the same captain. Yes, each sailboat was created uniquely and will take to the waters differently but what if we put Captain God behind that giant wheel and let him steer? No, we wouldn't avoid the storms but we would have perfect guidance to coordinate ourselves through any weather. So for my situation right now I will give it to Him. I want to be a mom. There I said it. I don't care if it's ridiculous, I'm so envious of the mom's at the grocery store shopping for not just themselves, they push a cart for more than 1. How did I go from wanting to never marry and have kids to all of a sudden looking at baby clothes? I know that being a mom won't make my life easier, but to watch a person grow...that would be a gift! I'm not saying I want to be swept off my feet and married, I am not in the search for romance, I'm in the battle of being content with where God has me now. Phillipians 4:6-7
